Your key
is you
A messenger without a phone number, an email or an account. Messages and calls are encrypted on your device; the server only carries envelopes it can’t open.
How to start
-
01
Create your identity
Open the app and tap Create identity. Keep the server it offers, then choose a passcode. There is no sign-up and nothing to verify.
-
02
Share your address
Your address is the fingerprint of your key, like #k7fq-m2xd-9wpa-t4hn-c8re. Copy it or show its QR code; add someone by theirs.
-
03
Verify each other
Open the contact and compare the numbers in person or on a call. If they match, no one is in between.
-
04
Link your computer
On the phone: Settings → Devices → Link a device, then scan the code on your Mac, your PC or in the browser.
One server for you and your contacts
The app comes set to our relay. It carries sealed envelopes it can’t open, and keeps an envelope only until it is delivered. You and the people you write to need to be on the same server.
